Our jowl bacon is naturally smoked and slow cured for a deep smoky flavour and crispy goodness. It is made with the cheek of the pig, so it has a slightly different grain but the same taste & texture you would get from traditional style.
We recommend cooking our bacon in the oven for the least amount of shrinkage.
Preheat oven to 400'F.
For best results, cover a large cookie tray with tin foil and place a cookie cooling rack (or roast rack) on tray to raise bacon off of the surface to allow the fat to drip off.
Lay bacon flat on rack , cover with parchment paper to prevent splattering and cook at 400'F for 20-25 mins for chewy, 30+ mins for crispy. Pat with paper towel and enjoy!
